Rick Mitchell has been a professional journalist for more than two decades. An American living in France since 1995, he writes and edits articles about legislative, legal, regulatory and economic developments affecting companies, in the areas of taxation, transfer pricing, data privacy, energy and environment, intellectual property rights, and other areas that often intertwine. As an editor, his specialty is turning tech talk and jargon into readable prose. Before graduating from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, Mitchell taught English in Bogotá and Korea for five years. He has bicycled all over Europe, the United States and Korea, and, before moving to France, he walked through Borneo for three months. See his résumé (CV) and Twitter page for more details.
